Silent Auction - Rules and Information
Any member may bring up to 10 items to sell the Silent Auction. If you provide items for the Juniors tables, they will not be counted as part of your 10 items. Bidding is open to all. We will have many tables available for you to display your items as we are opening the entire room for this evening.
Special Silent Auction slips are available right above. Be sure to write your “seller” name at the bottom of the slip. Please feel free to use past versions of the sales slips also. Sales are payable by cash or check only, directly to the seller. Don’t forget to bring small bills and change, especially sellers.
Tables will close in small groups periodically throughout the bidding, starting soon after refreshment time ends.
Note there will be separate tables for items on which only JUNIOR members may place a bid. Special Silent Auction slips for Juniors are also available above.
In addition, to give the Club a “piece of the action”, any member who wishes may put CLUB SALES on the “SELLER” line and those proceeds will go directly to the Club. Kurt Brinks, Treasurer, will collect the CLUB funds. This is a great chance to start a collection or add to your current collection.
Besides bidding on special member offerings, this evening has plenty of time to mingle and talk. Come enjoy the fun, while you expand your collection and meet great people.

Marketplace Sellers Guide
You must be a member of Tulip City Gem & Mineral Club to sell at the marketplace. Sellers must have a paid membership for that current show's year. Anyone joining the club at the show is considered a member for the upcoming year and are not permitted to sell at the current show.
The club will receive 15% from the gross sales of each seller at the Marketplace. The seller will receive the remainder of their money after the treasurer has finished the show finances (typically a few weeks, and is received in the mail).
Sellers must provide sales slips for the items they wish to sell. PRINT CLEARLY !! Remember to fill out the top and bottom of the sales slips with your price and name so you will be paid. Be sure all items have complete slips before arriving at the show.
Slips are available to print at the top of this page.
Due to limited space, only Marketplace workers are allowed behind the tables. Price your items carefully. The price that the item is marked will remain until the last hour of the last day of the show. There will be no haggling or negotiating prices with buyers.
The Marketplace will provide a “Close out Sale” during the last hour of the show. You can change your prices at this time using red ink (club will provide pens).
