Tulip City Gem & Mineral Club
Our non-profit club aims to foster an interest in and enhance knowledge of minerals, rocks, gems, fossils, and the lapidary arts. To learn more, please visit our Club Info page. TCG&MC organizes an annual show, publishes a monthly newsletter named the Conglomerate, and connects rock enthusiasts through various platforms, including social media, our website, and in-person events.
All are welcome to meetings! You do not need to be a member to attend general meetings. Meetings are typically held at 7 PM the last Wednesday of every month at the Howard Miller Library, 14 S Church St, Zeeland, MI 49464. Announcements
Welcome to winter everyone!!!! Our December meeting will have lots to cover and include the most important thing, nominating of the 2025 board members and voting them into office. There will also be an update on the fantastic renovations to our website and how to navigate them. Perhaps there is a secret location for new rock hunting sites?? You will have to be at the meeting to find out.
For the rock contest we will feature those specimens that have Red, White, & Green (or as close as possible). If you have a specimen that has all 3 of these colors please enter it in this month's contest.
We would also like to encourage everyone to bring your favorite Christmas treat to share. Enjoy the treats, come to mingle and share your best rockhounding adventures with some extra mingle time to be festive. And hey don't forget to wear your favorite festive gear. Thank you for a wonderful year and let's end it off with the best meeting ever!!!!!!!!
