Club Info

Our club was founded in 1967!
We encourage rockhounding enthusiasts to gather and discuss their shared interests. Thanks to our members, our community thrives to this day.
The club meetings take place every month on the last Wednesday at 7 pm, unless specified otherwise in the TULIP CITY CONGLOMERATE. The venue is the Howard Miller Community Center located at 14 S. Church Street, Zeeland, MI. For more information, please refer to our Club Calendar.

Our Junior Club offers young rockhounds a warm welcome and meets separately during the main meeting. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, including Geologists, Paleontologists, wire wrappers, lapidary artists, facetors, and many more. Our members collectively possess hundreds of years of experience and knowledge.

We welcome all rock enthusiasts to our club! Whether you're interested in rocks, gems, minerals, or people, you're invited to join us. Our club is a place to share stories, information, and techniques. If you have any rock-related questions, we'd be happy to help you out. You can either visit our Contact Us page to ask your question or attend one of our meetings in person. We have experts who can answer your questions or help you find the information you need.

If you're interested in becoming a member, simply fill out the form on our Join Us page. You can also ask about membership at one of our general meetings. We look forward to seeing you soon!
The Tulip City Gem and Mineral Club is a non-profit organization that is comprised of individuals who share a passion for rocks, gems, minerals, and fossils. As members of both the Midwest Federation of Mineralogical & Geological Societies and the American Federation of Mineralogical Societies, we strive to promote and advance the study of earth sciences.
